If there are high winds, Bradford is probably better equipped to sling the ball in those conditions than Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins. A wet field plays to the receivers' advantage, while Washington's secondary will be shorthanded. The key is to get just enough of a running game going against another tough front to give Sam Bradford a chance. Eventually, I think it will click - maybe as soon as this week. There were opportunities through the air as well. However, I tend to believe the players and coaches when they say it's closer to getting in sync. It's difficult to predict what the weather will be like, let alone what type of performance we'll get out of the Eagles' offense. Washington doesn't have a downfield passing game without DeSean Jackson and won't be able to rely on the run against the top-ranked rush defense in the NFL. This feels like the game that either Nelson Agholor or Josh Huff comes up with a deep ball. The 'Skins have a porous pass defense and a true liability in CB Bashaud Breeland. The offensive line appears to be gaining steam, and with Chip Kelly adjusting his play-calling for more runs under center, those drive-killing losses should continue to decrease. I don't see how the Eagles lose this one. (Alternate prediction: Hurricane Joaquin 1, East Coast 0) It occurs to me that if I pick the Eagles each week, my record can’t be any worse than their record. I can see the Eagles making a big play here as well. It already has allowed a punt return for a touchdown and had another punt blocked. If the defense is once again stout against the run - and Washington will definitely try to run it - Kirk Cousins will be chucking the ball around and that's bad news for Jay Gruden.Īlso, Washington is lousy on special teams. Result: Three interceptions, four turnovers in all and an Eagles victory. Last Sunday the Eagles shut down the Jets' ground game and forced Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw and throw and throw - 58 times in all. This should follow the same script as last Sunday's game with the Jets. With a chance to return in Week 6, Dean has stayed engaged through injury ![]() I feel more comfortable about the Birds' secondary than I do the Redskins' because I believe the Eagles' D will force more turnovers than the 'Skins' D. I'm interested in seeing if Ryan Mathews can find success on the ground similar to what he did in the first half against the Jets. The 'Skins have two bruising backs in Alfred Morris, who averages 4.1 YPC, and rookie Matt Jones with a 5.3 YPC. The Eagles run defense is the best in the league, allowing 3.1 YPC, but the Redskins' run D is not to shabby allowing just 3.6 YPC. Sloppy field conditions could make for a turnover fest. I don't trust Sam Bradford and I certainly don't trust Kirk Cousins. I think it's a 17-13 game either way, and am going Washington only because the game is in Landover. ![]() But until he does actually have a big game, it's all a projection. Against this Washington secondary, Sam Bradford should have a big game. If this game were at the Linc, I'd pick the Eagles. Until the Eagles put together a complete game on both sides of the football, I can't pick them to win on the road. ![]() So consider this more of a statement against the Eagles than a statement for the Redskins. Both are 1-2. The Redskins run the ball better, the Eagles are stronger against the pass. Shaky quarterback, decent run defense, inconsistent offense. There are a lot of similarities between these two teams. Will Sam Bradford finally break out? Will the Eagles get their second win? That means their HDMI ports can handle 4K at 120 frames per second and variable refresh rate (including Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync), as well as enhanced audio return channel and automatic low latency mode (auto game mode). All of LG's 2022 OLED models (aside from the A2) include the latest version of the HDMI standard: 2.1. LG continues to excel at connection options. LIke most TVs, the C2 does support Apple's phone-mirroring feature, and it also lets you issue Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands by speaking into the remote or, new for 2022, hands-free when you say the wake word like "Alexa." Well-connected, especially for gamers You can't show two HDMI inputs on-screen and the main thing you can do - share a screen from your phone side-by-side with an input - didn't work with Apple AirPlay. LG also added a new multiview feature that puts two sources side by side or picture-in-picture, but unfortunately it's quite limited. The new "always ready" feature puts something on the screen even after you turn it "off." David Katzmaier/CNET On a TV this expensive you should just attach a good streaming device instead. LG's WebOS menu system is not my favorite, in part because of the clutter. As always, you can wave LG's remote around to move the cursor, or scroll quickly through menus with the built-in wheel. ![]() In my old age I've grown easily annoyed by too many buttons, and I much prefer the streamlined, simple layout of Samsung and Roku/TCL remotes, for example. The less-expensive A2 lacks the HDMI 2.1 gaming features, 120Hz refresh rate and fancier processing found on the other 2022 LG OLEDs. Spending more for the G2 gets you a slightly brighter panel according to LG, as well as the wall-friendly "gallery" design. The C2 series sits in the middle of LG's 2022 OLED TV lineup, with the widest range of screen sizes and all the features I expect from a high-end TV. The exceptions are the 42- and 48-inch sizes, which lack the "Evo" panel and might be slightly dimmer than the others as a result (although the difference is minimal, if my comparisons to the non-Evo C1 are any indication). I have no idea why you’d ever want to turn off CA correction, but I’m happy to gain the option to exploit the lens’s natural vignetting for aesthetic effect. Previously, you could only enable/disable distortion and sharpness compensation, with corrections for vignetting and chromatic aberration always being applied. The other major advance in PureRAW 3 comes with the control it provides over lens corrections. To my mind, this makes DeepPRIME the best option for regular use. In contrast, PureRAW took 2min 23sec in HQ mode 8min 11sec using PRIME 4min 35sec in DeepPRIME and 9min 54sec with DeepPRIME XD. Instead, if you queue up variants of an image with different combinations of corrections, by default they’ll be assigned the same filename and end up overwriting each other. However, it isn’t smart enough to do the same with lens corrections. Usefully, PureRAW 3 will automatically name its DNG files according to the processing algorithm used. Click on the ‘Show Queue’ button, and you can change the processing order simply by dragging batches up and down the list. Alternatively, if you click the new ‘Add to Queue’ option, your files will get added to a queue that the program will work through progressively.
